Wynonna Judd has always been associated with her fiery red locks, but as the country artist’s latest social media post proves, her hairstyle has definitely changed over the years.
In a series of pics from the 1980s shared to Instagram this week, Judd met with fans while sporting a super curly, shoulder-length ‘do with fluffy retro bangs. The first image featured Judd posing between two fans (also with curly hair) in front of her tour bus, while the remaining two shots showed her signing autographs in a parking lot.
“Late night post! Just came across a nostalgic bunch of photos from the 80’s shared within our fan club community. Now I can’t sleep! Too excited for ACM Awards this week, followed by CMA Fest next month, then the GREATEST HITS TOUR!!! Keep the momentum going, FANmily! 😘” Judd, 60, captioned her post.

Fans couldn’t get over the vintage photos.
“Love the hair,” gushed one person.
“My fav Era… Perms & Aquanet🙌😍❤️,” agreed a second commenter, with someone else adding, “Good old days the hair lol it’s always about the hair we love your hair always 💜.”
“Those were the days!!” another Instagram user declared.
Along with her sister Ashley, Wynonna will be appearing in a new Lifetime docuseries about her famous family’s life, The Judd Family: Truth Be Told, scheduled for release on Mother’s Day weekend.
According to a press release shared with People, the four-part series will examine “the complex mother-daughter dynamics and intergenerational trauma as seen through the eyes of The Judd Family.”
“From Naomi’s beginnings in Kentucky as a young teen mom, then known as Dianna, struggling to survive with her young daughters, the doc illustrates how the famous country music mother-daughter duo of Naomi and Wynonna Judd came to be and where Ashley stood at the height of Naomi and Wynonna’s fame,” the release explained.
