WWE Honors ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan With Special 10-Bell Salute originally appeared on Parade.
WWE delivered a heartfelt tribute to one of its iconic figures, Hulk Hogan, following his passing on July 24.
During Friday night’s SmackDown, the organization dedicated a segment to honor the ring legend, showcasing his most memorable moments in WWE.
Narrated by former wrestler turned Chief Content Officer of the WWE, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, a video highlighted Hogan’s legendary career, which spanned over 40 years.
Besides the video, fans got to see familiar faces reunited on stage as they paid tribute to the late wrestling icon.
In a video shared by WWE, Triple H, who described the late wrestler as “one of the most globally recognized icons,” led the 10-bell salute, a time-honored tradition used to pay tribute to a departed legend of the sport.
“So please help us honor him now as we give a 10-bell salute to Terry Bollea, the one and the only, the immortal Hulk Hogan,” he said, giving a signal to begin the solemn tolling of the bell.

The arena was filled with silence as the bell rang ten times in slow, solemn intervals.
After the 10-bell tribute, the crowd cheered to celebrate the legacy of Hulk Hogan and bid farewell to the legend.
In the comments, social media users around the world united to pay respect to the six-time WWE Champion.
“The finality of the bell cuts deep.. It’s beautiful, and at the same time so damn hollowing.
Rest easy, Brother,” one wrote.
“Legend never dies,” a commenter chimed in.
“Thank you, Hulk, w/o you this show wouldn’t even be happening,” another added, in reference to the SmackDown.
One fan praised WWE for delivering a tribute worthy of the icon, writing, “Classy way to honour the Hulkster.”
The 71-year-old Georgia native passed away after suffering cardiac arrest, according to USA Today, as confirmed by the Clearwater Police Department in Florida.
