Winnie Harlow is speedy to answer when asked about her friendship with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
The model, 30, teamed up with eBay to curate an exclusive auction featuring a selection of pre-loved luxury fashion and a customized 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, all timed to Miami’s F1 race weekend where Hamilton competed for Ferrari.
“I think my first race was in Monaco, quite some time ago, maybe seven, eight years ago, and I have been friends with Lewis Hamilton for about that amount of time,” Harlow says. “I think it’s really important to support your friends, and my dad is also a mechanic, so I’ve always been around cars.”

Items included in eBay’s auction, which ends on May 12, range from the 1993 Porsche to vintage pieces like a Moschino leather vest, Celine wedge knee-high boots and a blue Gucci Jackie bag selected by Harlow — and eBay’s new Resident Stylist, Brie Welch, who has styled the likes of Katie Holmes.
“I really do love this vintage Moschino vest. And there’s this really beautiful Cartier watch. I’m obsessed with these Vetements pants. I mean, there’re so many pieces,” Harlow says of the various items up for grabs.
All of the proceeds from the auction will go to Vitiligo Support International, which Harlow says is a cause “near and dear to my heart.”

Hamilton, meanwile, has become a bit of a fashion icon himself in recent years. The F1 driver co-chaired Monday night’s Met Gala alongside Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour, plus honorary chair LeBron James.
Harlow says her longtime pal couldn’t be more talented if he tried.
“I think his strength [is his best quality]. He’s been doing this forever, literally, and even if you watch videos of him as a child, he’s always had such a passion for the sport,” she says. “I think his drive — his passion — really sets him apart. He is one of one, honestly.”

Hamilton placed eighth in the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday. McLaren came out on top, scoring both first and second place thanks to drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, respectively.
The 2025 F1 season will continue with races in Italy beginning May 16, followed by the Monaco Grand Prix the following weekend.
