Zendaya walked the red carpet solo, which honestly shouldn’t be a surprise since she and Tom usually don’t accompany each other to events. He recently explained why to Men’s Health, saying, “Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.” I’ll give you a moment.
That said, Tom and Zendaya do walk red carpets together when they’re in the same project—like Christopher Nolan’s upcoming The Odyssey.
“Studios love it—one hotel room!” Tom joked on the Dish podcast while chatting about the film. He added that working with Zendaya is a “saving grace” and the “best thing that’s ever happened to me.” I’ll give you another moment.
Oh, and Tom also chatted about how he and Zendaya maintain their privacy with such a spotlight on their relationship, saying, “It’s about being a little bit more organized, knowing where you want to go and there are restaurants that have little back rooms and stuff where you can have a more private night. But at the end of the day, it’s no hardship. When people are recognizing you because they enjoy your work, it’s a pretty wonderful thing.”
