Whoopi Goldberg has just embraced one of the coziest trends around—pajama-core. The co-host of The View attended the Ellis Island Medals Of Honor Ceremony at Ellis Island on May 10 where wore a loose button-up black shirt dress over a white collar. Adding a luxurious twist to the look, she also donned a long silk robe embroidered with an off-white Art Deco floral pattern. As for her footwear, she wore black shoes with a bright white sole. She accessorized with a two-strand silver and pearl necklace along with a pair of large silver hoops. She wore her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Goldberg’s silk robe embraces the pajamas-as-eveningwear trend. She follows in the footsteps of the likes of Jennifer Lopez, who recently donned a silk maxi dress with a matching headwrap, Zendaya, who wore a lime green pajama-style set during her Challengers press tour last year, and Pamela Anderson, who donned a similar black silk set earlier this year.

Goldberg has made a number of recent fashion-forward appearances this year. Earlier this week, she wore a tuxedo-inspired Thom Browne with a white trompe l’oeil coat and a top hat. In March, she wore a futuristic sculptural Christian Siriano gown to the Oscars. The off-the-shoulder gown revealed her rarely seen tattoo.
