The Playoffs wrapped up on Monday night on Season 27 of The Voice, with the final five members of John Legend and Michael Bublé’s teams battling it out to see who will advance into the only two spots per team in the Live Shows.
Meanwhile, Adam Levine and Kelsea Ballerini got to sit back and watch and comment on the performances as their artists competed last week. Adam chose Kolby Cordell and Lucia Flores-Wiseman to move on to the Lives and Kelsea selected Iris Herrera and Alanna Lynise.
The five artists on Team Legend – Ari Camiile, BD.ii, Bryson Battle, Olivia Kuper Harris and RENZO – got to work with Mega Mentor and The Voice U.K. coach LeAnn Rimes. Meanwhile, Team Bublé — Barry Jean Fontenot, Angie Rey, Kaiya Hamilton, Adam David and Jadyn Cree — got tutoring from Mega Mentor and country superstar Sheryl Crow.
In the end, it will be up to the coaches to decide who goes through to the Live Shows. There are no Saves or Steals in the Playoff rounds. Check out our spoiler-filled recap to find out what happened.

Team Legend: Bryson Battle
Song: “pov” by Ariana Grande
John said: “We talked about a few things in rehearsals; you did all that. Do you hear how powerful you are in your chest voice? It’s very soulful, and it’s very compelling. Those high notes were thrilling. Amazing performance, Bryson. You are everything.”
Team Bublé: Angie Rey
Song: “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes
Michael said: “Your performance was really beautiful. I thought it was flawless. I think it was the best I’ve heard you. This is the scariest moment for you to be that good. These are the moments when I fold like a cheap tent. I love that you were brave enough to sing in your heart language, which makes the performance so distinct and unique. I was just thrilled to be able to take that journey with you.”
Team Legend: BD.ii
Song: “All My Life” by K-Ci & JoJo
John said: “You have this beautiful, pure, soulful voice, but it always sounds cool. It always sounds effortless. You could make really great modern R&B records right now. I thought this was your best performance so far, and I absolutely loved it.”
Team Bublé: Jadyn Cree
Song: “99 Red Balloons” by Nena
Michael said: “I had a manager years ago and she used to say what’s really important is when we hear a voice on the radio, we know right away it’s Legend, it’s Ballerini, or we know it’s Levine. Jadyn, they’re going to know you. I truly believe you’re a star. Thank you for being such a great partner with me.”
Team Legend: Olivia Kuper Harris
Song: “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish
John said: “My God. That was absolutely stunning. Every note had intention and beauty. I am totally impressed by you.”
Team Bublé: Barry Jean Fontenot
Song: “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez
Michael said: “We talked about being still and confident. People at home are watching people like you show up here and week after week grow into this beautiful person that you are.”
Team Legend: Ari Camille
Song: “Rain” by SWV
John said: “You have a light inside of you. We see a star, we see somebody who has confidence, who has a sense of style. Every time you decide that you are going to change the melody a different way, it’s always stylish. Whenever you turn your voice up to go into your falsetto, it sounds really stylish. I absolutely loved it. Great performance.”
Team Bublé: Adam David
Song: “I Shall Be Released” by Bob Dylan
Michael said: “I love that the word that keeps coming up is ‘artist.’ That’s what you are. Not a great singer who has nothing to say. As a storyteller, you make that song the truth. When we talk about believing you, it’s because it’s authentic. You deserve to have a beautiful, long career in this business.”

Song: “Too Sweet” by Hozier
John said: “It just feels like you’re already a star, making those records, doing all that amazing merch that Kelsea is going to buy. If we are going to go forward together, we want to make sure we pick songs that take advantage of that raw side of your voice that makes people feel the energy, the urgency. I’m still very glad that I blocked Adam for you.”
Who did the judges eliminate on The Voice Season 27 2025 tonight?
After the performances, it was time for Michael to decide which two of his artists were going to the Live Shows. The first artist that Michael selected to advance to the live shows was Adam David.
“There is no one like him,” Michael said. “One of the greatest, most unique voices I’ve heard. I think Adam David is going to keep getting better every single live show. This man tells the truth. That’s what we want. We want to believe.”
The second artist Michael picked to finish his team was Jadyn Cree.
“I think Jadyn is going to rock the live shows. Her talent and her star quality is just non-negotiable. That voice is so special and unique. If people listen to the radio, they’re going to know that it can be no one else but Jadyn.”
Then it was John’s turn. His first choice to move on to the Lives was RENZO.
“I picked RENZO because I see his vision, I see him making records, I see him on big stages,” John said.
John’s second and final choice was Bryson Battle.
“I had to pick Bryson,” John said. “Everybody’s just at a loss for words when they see his range and his God-given ability to just sing.”
