Now, Brittany has been by his side as Joey has gone on to win three NASCAR Cup Series
Joey Logano and his wife Brittany Logano may be high school sweethearts, but it wasn’t love at first sight for this longtime couple.
The NASCAR driver and Brittany first crossed paths when they both worked at Joey’s family’s ice rink before getting married in 2014. Since then, they’ve welcomed three children: Hudson, Jameson and Emilia.
During a February 2023 appearance on In Depth with Graham Bensinger, the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion admitted he wasn’t confident talking to girls as a teenager. Because he was homeschooled and his social interactions with peers were mostly with other boys at race tracks, he asked his sister to introduce him to the girl he’d taken notice of: her friend, Brittany.
The result was something Brittany recalls as “awkward,” and though they did date for a few months following their lackluster meeting, Joey told Bensinger, “She friend-zoned me because I was the most awkward 16-year-old you’ve ever met.”
Though it took a few years, the couple found their way back to one another and have been married for over a decade. Now, they both star in season 2 of Netflix’s NASCAR: Full Speed.
So who is Joey Logano’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Brittany Logano and her relationship with the NASCAR driver.

Brittany Logano was born in California, but her family later relocated to North Carolina, where she went to high school and eventually college at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, per her Facebook.
As a kid, Brittany participated in competitive figure skating, which is how she met Joey’s sister, Danielle, and eventually Joey, when they were teenagers.

Joey and Brittany, who were 16 and 15, respectively, at the time, met at an ice skating rink owned by Joey’s family, where they both worked. Brittany fulfilled food orders in concessions, and Joey drove the Zamboni.
Joey noticed Brittany while she was skating and knew she was friends with his sister, whom he asked to introduce them because he was too shy to approach her himself. Brittany remembered the initial meeting as “awkward” during a March 2025 appearance on Haley Dillon’s podcast Believe in the Good, and a few months later, the pair attended a Christmas party for the ice rink.
Joey pulled a chair out from under Brittany in typical teenage boy fashion, which she recalled being embarrassed about, but when he offered to make it up to her by taking her to skate at the rink after hours, Brittany said she couldn’t resist.
“He took me there and it was a whole like Happy Gilmore moment, like the lights were low and he held my hand and asked for my phone number and the whole deal,” she remembered.
Brittany added that though they broke up for a few years, she and Joey ultimately rekindled their relationship when they were 19 and have been together ever since.

Joey and Brittany announced their engagement in November 2013. Proving himself to be a racecar driver through and through, the NASCAR champion didn’t just propose with an engagement ring — he got down on one knee alongside a brand new car.
“She was driving around this old Jeep Cherokee that was going to break down at any second,” Joey recalled during the couple’s interview with Besinger. “Actually did a couple times; it was a piece of crap.”
Remembering that her dream car was a Thunderbird, the professional racer decided to buy Brittany a seafoam green model to go with her new jewelry. “I thought, ‘Perfect, a car and the ring would be really cool; it’s more like my style,’ ” Joey said.

A little over a year after Joey proposed, the couple got married on Dec. 13, 2014. They said “I do” at the historic Biltmore estate in Asheville, N.C.
The day after they exchanged vows, the NASCAR driver reflected on their wedding on X. “I’ve never been happier to get to be with this beautiful woman 4ever,” he wrote. “What a amazing day full of emotions.”

Joey and Brittany welcomed their first child, a son named Hudson, in January 2018. Their second child, Jameson, followed in May 2020, and a baby girl named Emilia arrived in February 2022.
Emilia was born just hours after the NASCAR driver won his second Cup Series Championship, which he described as a “pretty awesome 36 hours” in an Instagram post.
Joey added, “Sunday will never compare to today though … She’s already stole our hearts. Mom and baby were rockstars.”
In March 2022, the couple told PEOPLE having three kids under 5 is “chaotic,” with Joey sharing, “There’s a lot going on all the time. I come home after a busy weekend, and a lot of times, there are kids just screaming everywhere.”
Brittany added, “Well, they’re just so excited to see him when he comes home.”

A graduate of UNC Charlotte with degrees in psychology and sociology, Brittany plays a key role in the Joey Logano Foundation, which invests in organizations offering recovery assistance to children and young adults in crisis.
Serving as founding vice-chairperson, Brittany’s work mainly focuses on running programs for elders and helping struggling families and individuals receive financial support, according to the foundation’s website.
They are working on becoming licensed foster parents

During her appearance on the Believe in the Good podcast, Brittany revealed that she and Joey had started the process of becoming licensed foster parents after many years of deliberation.
The philanthropist’s mom is involved in foster care, and because of the personal connection, she and Joey had heavily considered becoming foster parents but had ultimately decided against it due to the NASCAR driver’s demanding schedule. But when divine intervention struck twice, the couple reconsidered.
“We went to church one day and I remember them talking about adoption, and it happened like two times,” Brittany recalled. “I felt like it was just this pull.”
She continued, “There was a person that went up and talked about adoption and they were like, ‘There’s somebody in this room that is meant to adopt.’ I remember looking at Joey and we looked around the room and everyone was old … He’s talking to just us, is how we both felt.”
They again decided to hold off due to Joey’s career demands, but during another serendipitous moment at a foundation event with one of their partner organizations, foster care was brought up once more.
“It was another one of those speeches about ‘They need foster parents and you need to help and you could be one of those people,’ ” Brittany shared.
Unable to ignore the signs any longer, she decided to call the organization’s founder to learn how to start the foster licensing process. “We’re just going to start the process and see where that leads us because I think God is telling us just to take the first steps,” she said.
The couple began the journey to get a license after Joey’s 2024 NASCAR season, but they quickly found it was more demanding than they expected, Brittany said. However, she added, it has been “good” so far.
