Fans of the MomTok crew and reality show know that its drama that fuels all the fires, and there are many!

Season 1 of the show was such a hit that it didn’t take long before it was announced that it was picked up for a second season. As fans eagerly await new episodes, the drama spilled onto social media, making viewers even more excited about the new season that will include 20 episodes.

Leavitt, who was called the villain of season one, recently shared a video to playfully joke about whether or not she’s going to be portrayed as season two’s villain.

Whitney Leavitt Feels ‘The Villains Are The Real Stars Of The Show’

In a recently posted video shared on TikTok and Instagram, Leavitt gives some insight into whether or not she’s taking on the villain role in the second season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

“Are you the villain in season 2” is written on the video as Leavitt continually says, “No” over and over. A few times, she gives a little side eye and smirk to insinuate she is perhaps going to be labeled season two’s villain.

On TikTok, she captioned the video, “The villains are the real stars of the show,” but over on Instagram, it’s captioned, “May 15 can’t come soon enough.”

‘Mormon Wives’ Fans Commented Their Thoughts On Who The Season 2 Villain Will Be

Many viewers quickly dropped into the comment section of Leavitt’s video to share their thoughts about season 2, Leavitt’s role as villain, and who might take over that title.

“You’re definitely not the villain as long as Zac is around,” one TikToker said, referring to Jen Affleck’s husband, Zac. Another viewer wrote, “My money is on Demi this season. lol Whitney’s just out here having fun.”

Over on Instagram, one viewer wrote, “Listen, we all love villains! Nothing wrong with this!” and another added, “Somebody has to be the villain or else why are we watching? Life’s not all Diet Coke and Fruity Pebbles, sometimes you need spice.”

Whitney Leavitt Rejoined The MomTok Chat In October

It was unclear if Leavitt would be rejoining the rest of the MomTok crew when season 2 was announced, but it didn’t take long for her to clear up any confusion.

Leavitt shared that she will be returning for the new season in a TikTok video shared back in October 2024.

After the voice over says, “What would happen if you just called Taylor up and just say what? Just, you know, what happened?” Leavitt is then seen texting the MomTok chat group. At the top of the text, Taylor wrote, “Hey guys added Whit back to the chat!”

Leavitt is then seen responding, “Excited to film season 2 with all of you. I know there’s tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together.”

Season 2 Of ‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Will Be Released On May 15

Fans of the hit reality show won’t have too much longer to wait to dive into some new episodes.

The show follows the lives of a group of Utah Mormon moms who also share their lives and drama on TikTok. Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neely, Jessi Ngatikaura, Demi Engemann, Mikayla Matthews, and Affleck, all starred on the first season and are expected to be in the second season.

While much of their drama has spilled over into social media posts, fans are ready to see everything that’s been going on since the end of the first season.

Cancel plans, turn the phone on DND, stock the fridge (don’t forget the soda and creamer to make some dirty sodas), and get ready to binge season 2 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” on May 15, 2025!
