Unlike the rest of her siblings, Tiffany Trump has been able to fly under the radar for the majority of her life. As the second daughter of Donald Trump and the only child of Marla Maples, Tiffany was raised in California, giving her the opportunity to carve out her own path in the world. “[My mother] moved us out of New York to get out of the spotlight and let me grow up and find my own identity versus being in the shadow of a name or growing up very young with all that pressure,” Trump told People in January 2025. “So, she wanted me to have a chance to have a normal childhood. As normal as possible. I think that she did well in that.”

While Tiffany was shielded from a lot of the drama surrounding her family name, she still grew up in the lap of luxury, and because of this, she could — and still can — afford to eat whatever she wants. Although she may share her father’s blood, when it comes to her daily diet, she definitely doesn’t eat like Donald. In fact, he seems to be the only one in the family with a penchant for fast food and Diet Coke. Everyone else, especially Melania Trump, keeps things pretty healthy by subscribing to the method of moderation.

According to a source close to Tiffany Trump (via Medium), when the youngest daughter wanted to shed pounds prior to her wedding, she kicked off her morning with a cup of hot water as a means of detoxification. Although there’s no definitive proof that drinking hot water is as beneficial as some claim it is, it can help get things moving in the morning. “Your gastrointestinal (GI) tract is one big muscle, so perhaps the heat of the water relaxes your GI tract a bit to help things like constipation,” registered dietitian Beth Czerwony told the Cleveland Clinic. Next, Tiffany moved on to a fruit-heavy breakfast.

While some fruit can be high in sugar, because being healthy appears to be important to Tiffany, there’s a good chance she was eating a lot of low-calorie fruit like strawberries and blueberries. In addition to being low in calories, berries are also rich in antioxidants and essential vitamins. Other low-calorie fruit options are grapefruit, apples, melons, plums, and peaches.

If you take a look at Tiffany Trump’s Instagram, it will reveal that when it comes to food she eats throughout the day, seafood is a major component. In March 2014, she posted a photo of chopped lobster on a bed of cucumbers, spinach, and avocado — with a few cherry tomatoes tossed in for color. It definitely looked delicious, and it was a healthy seafood option. In July 2014, while back in L.A. for a visit, Trump posted a photo of uni and fish eggs (roe) wrapped in seaweed. Later that same month, Trump posted another food-related photo. This one, taken at The Dominick in New York, contained a plate of several oysters with caviar on top of them.

Although we don’t know if Trump eats seafood every day, if she’s having at least a few portions of it a week, she’s making a healthy choice for herself. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, seafood is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which is something we all need. Also called “healthy fats,” omega-3 fatty acids are necessary for overall cell structure and organ function and have been proven to promote heart health (per The National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements).

But while Trump definitely has a far healthier diet than her dad, she still has a sweet tooth. When it comes to something a bit sugary, ice cream appears to be among her favorite treats, as her Instagram reveals.
