President Trump will give remarks on American investment Wednesday afternoon, as global trading partners and the U.S. economy continue to reel after his latest tariff announcement.
Trump, who hit 100 days in office on Tuesday, has touted his sweeping tariff plan amid recession fears, arguing the actions will spark more investment in the U.S. Earlier this month he announced a 10 percent baseline tax on nearly all imports and hit several nations with higher reciprocal tariffs.
The president later paused a majority of the retaliatory duties for 90 days, leaving room for negotiation with other nations.
