(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Editor Greg Bishop reviews statements around news of federal immigration officials detaining a Mexican national who was arrested by Illinois law enforcement earlier this year for the concealment of a women’s body but was later released from jail under the state’s Pretrial Fairness Act that ended cash bail. Bishop also shares comments from Todd Vandermyde, president of the Aurora Sportsmen’s Club, a 300 acre facility with nearly 3,000 members in Waterman, Illinois. Vandermyde talks about the club, the amenities, and their upcoming “Zombie Shoot” in September, which is open to the public.
