(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Editor Greg Bishop reports out the latest in the challenge against Illinois’ gun ban with the appeals court scheduling oral arguments for Sept. 22, 2025.

Finally, of the more than 400 bills on the governor’s desk ready for his signature, 15 were enacted Monday. Bishop reviews some of those with a focus on a package of bills impacting education.
