Howie Mandel was the last judge to have a Golden Buzzer when America’s Got Talent began its eighth night of auditions on Tuesday night. And he finally found an act he felt was worth the honor: the Unreal dance team from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
“When we were young, we used to watch Bollywood dancing and copy it. So that’s how we grew up,” one member of Unreal explained. “In the beginning, it was very difficult for us as dancers because we had no support from our parents or anyone. They prefer for us to study and become a doctor or something else. But we chose to become dancers. Everybody has their dream to become superstars. AGT is the place where dreams can be realized.”
It was the dream of the men who comprise Unreal to perform in front of judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Sofia Vergara and Howie. Now it’s come true, and in a big way.

Unreal was formed in 2018 in India and has been practicing for its AGT audition for the last five years.
“Dancing has given us everything. If someone asks you to leave something you really love, it really hurts,” they said before taking the stage.
“One of the most amazing things I have ever seen,” host Terry Crews commented, watching the dance from the wings.
When they finished, Simon told them, “I am slightly speechless, to be honest with you. I just thought it was so creative and brilliant and scary. I can tell how much work you must have put into this. This doesn’t happen overnight. You just got everything right. I love that. It was amazing.”

“A perfect audition,” Sofia complimented them. “Your personalities, your clothing, the moves. I have never seen anything like it. It was one of the best shows we’ve seen this season.”
Then it was time for Howie. He said, “We see dance moves, the contortions. But to put it all together and show us something in a way that we’ve never seen before… Even the fact that you have an interpreter doing absolutely nothing. Also, amazing. You deserve everything. You deserve to be on the show in Season 20. You deserve to go all the way to the Live Shows.”

And to guarantee it, he hit his Golden Buzzer.
Backstage, Howie told Unreal, “You guys are a perfect act for Season 20. I would buy tickets. I would see you. I think you’re going to take this all the way.”
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
