Victoria Beckham knows the power of a good dress. Remaining loyal to her namesake brand, the designer is no stranger to wearing a sleek gown for an event or celebration, as she did recently at for royal black tie event and State Banquet.
On Monday, the designer continued her streak of demure dresses while celebrating husband David’s 50th birthday. Beckham shared photos of the evening to her Instagram, posing next to David, daughter Harper, and sons Romeo and Cruz, whose partners were also in attendance.
For the occasion, the former Harper’s Bazaar UK cover star opted for a simple white satin slipdress, but there was nothing plain about her look. The slinky gown was another from Beckham’s brand, constructed with thin spaghetti straps and a slight V-neck, reaching to the floor with a fluid silhouette. In a sweet matching moment, Harper wore a slip dress very much alike to her mother’s— also from her fashion line—in a chocolate-brown hue.
There’s no doubt that Beckham has an eye for creating classically beautiful white gowns; she designed Nicole Brydon Bloom’s recent wedding dress, an ivory slip design with a tulle overlay, with the actress also opting for a sugar pink slip silhouette from the brand for her pre-wedding celebrations.
For the birthday celebrations, the designer kept it elegant with her beauty look, wearing her brunette balayagé shoulder-length bob in a middle-parting with a slight wave. Her make-up was softly lit, with a satin pink lipstick, warm blush and her signature subtle smokey eye.
Following on from the success of the Netflix’s docuseries Beckham in 2023, the former Spice Girl is gearing up for the release of her own documentary which will follow her career evolution from the ’90s pop band to her A-list fashion brand. While a specific date for the documentary has yet to be announced, Netflix has confirmed the project is set to be released this year.
