Venus Williams is getting real about serving looks.

The tennis star, 45, shared her opinion about cosmetic interventions during an interview with Marie Claire UK, and revealed whether she’d undergo any herself in the future.

While Williams is happy with her appearance, she revealed to the publication — where she graced the cover for its fifth annual “Women in Sport” special — that she’d consider a cosmetic intervention under one condition.

“If I felt like I wanted to feel better about myself, and that’s what made me feel better, I would totally do it,” she told the outlet in the story published on Monday, Aug. 4.

However, Williams made it known that she’s currently content with her appearance.

“I would prefer to keep my look, you know,” she shared.

Still, the tennis icon is a supporter of those who do choose to undergo a cosmetic procedure if it’s something that will make them “feel good” in their own skin, despite the negativity that can surround it.

“So many people are judging other people,” she explained. “But if it makes somebody feel good that’s all that matters.”

Speaking further about cosmetic procedures, Williams opened up about aging and discussed having a helping hand solving today’s problems in health and skincare.

“There’s going to be so many amazing things that happen for skincare and aging [in the] next 20 years, so I’m excited to be a part of it,” she said enthusiastically. “And I’m so excited for what’s gonna happen with me and my hip replacement,” she added with a laugh.

Williams, who recently became the oldest woman to win a singles match on tour since Martina Navratilova in 2004, admitted that she thinks about aging. In fact, it’s a topic that’s hard to avoid as a professional athlete.

“I feel young [for] my age, physically,” she shared. “But my knees have always been aged 80 since I was a kid. They’ve never been on my side. I’ve had to drag them along with me.”

And yet, she still shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

On July 21, Williams won her first match back from injury when she teamed up with Hailey Baptiste for doubles at the 2025 Mubadala Citi DC Open. It was also her first competitive appearance on a tennis court in 16 months and came after she underwent fibroids surgery last year.

The seven-time Grand Slam winner last played at the 2024 Miami Open and hadn’t won a match since August 2023, when she made it to the second round of the Cincinnati Open.

Williams hinted to reporters that “maybe there’s more” to her tennis career, though teased “who knows” after her DC Open win.

“I’m just here for now, and who knows?” she said. “Maybe there’s more. I haven’t played in a year. There is no doubt I can play tennis. I’m still the same player. I’m a big hitter. I hit big. This is my brand.”
