One of Usher’s fans had an “OMG” moment at one of his recent performances.
Last week, the R&B star, 46, brought his Past Present Future Tour to London’s O2 Arena for two shows and attempted to feed a cherry to an attendee, as he’s done since his 2022-23 Las Vegas residency. However, the fan turned down the offer and admitted she’s actually allergic to the fruit!
In a video of the moment shared to social media, Usher approaches the woman and touches a tattoo of his name on her arm — before giving it a kiss. He then held up a cherry toward her mouth and appeared shocked as she turned it away and said, “I’m allergic.”
“Oh s—, you’re allergic to cherries, damn! Anybody got an EpiPen in this bitch?” asked Usher, who hugged the fan. “We almost had an emergency in here.”

The “U Got It Bad” singer’s London shows came after he performed at the 2025 Met Gala in New York City. During the hit-filled set, he fed a cherry to Sabrina Carpenter in the audience.
Carpenter, 26, took to Instagram afterward and posted a screenshot of her dad, David, reacting to the moment. “? Weird,” David wrote to his daughter alongside a snap of the performance.
Usher apologized in the comments section of the “Espresso” singer’s post. “Apologies Mr Carpenter 😅🍒,” he wrote.

In a February interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Usher explained how the cherry bit came to be. “It started with strawberries in Vegas,” he said at the time.
“So, you know, I just figured we try all the fruits until we figured out which one works the best,” continued the Grammy winner. “But cherries were something that I felt was fun and just kind of active. It was a bit erotic.”
The same month as the interview, Usher and wife Jenn Goicoechea celebrated their first wedding anniversary after tying the knot following his star-studded Super Bowl halftime show at Allegiant Stadium.
