Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan Have a Heartwarming Reunion in Australia originally appeared on Parade.
It’s hard to believe freckle-faced Lindsay Lohan starred alongside model Tyra Banks in a feature film a whole two and half decades ago.
Now, as the hit TV movie Life Size celebrates its 25th anniversary, Lohan, now 39, and Banks, 51, have found time to reunite in-person. And it’s endearing see, especially for millennials who grew up watching the throwback film again and again.
As Banks’ beloved Life Size character Eve would say, “Shine bright and shine far” — and that’s just the two stars did at the Aug. 5 premiere of Lohan’s new movie, Freakier Friday.
Posing with them on the red carpet was Lohan’s latest co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis. Talk about reunions — their original Freaky Friday movie was released way back in 2003.
Freakier Friday hits theaters Aug. 8 and already has a solid critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes based on the reviews that published just recently. The complications will be the double the fun, as the film promises, since lightning might strike twice — and at a time when Anna’s [Lohan’s] family has now expanded.
After starring in Life Size in 2000 — which centered on Lohan’s lovable protagonist Casey bringing her doll Eve to life — Banks starred in a sequel to Life Size 15 years later, but with other actors. Lohan — who now lives in Dubai with her husband Louis Bélanger-Martin and son York Banks Asla — was unavailable at the time of the sequel’s production, according to E!.
In the years since, Banks has even voiced her idea for a third Life Size movie that would bring Lohan’s character back into the picture.
“I feel like we should do one,” Banks said on The Drew Barrymore Show back in October 2024. “I feel like I’ve been really looking at Lindsay, and I feel like, ‘What if she was a doll? What if she, in some kind of way, magically turned into a doll?'”
