American flags. USA chants. “Making America Great Again” posters and a giant “Golden Age of America” banner surrounded President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening as he stood behind a lectern in Michigan, a blue wall state he won just months before.

Spanning over an hour, Trump’s campaign-like rally was to celebrate his second first 100 days in office as he touted his apparent victories, from the border crisis and his Department of Government Efficiency to culture issues like keeping men out of women’s sports.

“We’ve accomplished more in three months, and most administrations accomplished in four years, or even eight years. and we’re just getting started. Believe me, we’re just getting started,” Trump said during his rally.

The president started by talking about his administration’s work on the border crisis. Similarly, the administration’s week-long celebration for the first 100 days also started with an immigration theme, as border czar Tom Homan briefed reporters and photos of dangerous illegal immigrants arrested by ICE lined the White House driveway.

Since the Trump administration returned to power, daily border encounters have fallen 93% and migrant crossings are down by 99.99%, the president shared from the lectern.

“[Biden] said it was impossible, that the president had no power to stop what was needed in the form of legislation. He needed legislation. He had no power to get it, but it turned out that all we needed was a new president,” Trump said.

After giving shoutouts to officials and his most loyal supporters, the president also highlighted one of the many executive orders he signed in his first 100 days in office.

“I ended all of the lawless so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion BS … and I made it the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female,” the president said as the crowd roared.

The executive order targeting DEI initiatives came just moments after Trump was sworn into office as he sat in Capital One arena surrounded by his supporters.

In those first few hours of his presidency, Trump directed the Office of Management and Budget to coordinate with all other government agencies and terminate all policies and programs focused on DEI. The executive order also requires facilities that have been named after DEI to be renamed. (RELATED: Trump Supporters Tell Peter Doocy What They Liked Most About Trump’s First 100 Days)

The same day, Trump also signed an executive order requiring the federal government only recognize two sexes.

“President Trump has achieved the most secure border in American history. He’s fighting violent crime. He’s fighting the drug cartels. He’s cutting your taxes. He’s cutting wasteful spending. He’s draining the swamp. He’s standing up to the radical left. He’s standing up to the communists, and he’s making America stronger than it’s ever been. President Trump will never stop fighting for you, your children and your family,” White House Deputy Chief of Staff of Policy Stephen Miller said after the president pulled him up on stage.

Trump also took the time to tout his tariff policy, as many Americans feel its effects and wait for more potential changes. Similarly, the vice president will celebrate the administration’s tariff work with a factory tour of the U.S.’s largest manufacturer of steel, the Daily Caller learned. “To further rebuild the industrial bedrock of our country, impose 25% tariffs and foreign aluminum and steel. It’s keeping our steel mills going. I did that. If I didn’t do that with steel in my first term, we wouldn’t have a steel mill in the United States right now,” Trump said.

“And with my China tariffs, we’re ending the greatest job theft in the history of the world. China has taken more jobs from us than any country has ever taken from another country. And that doesn’t mean we’re not going to get along, we get along with China. I mean, the tariff now is at 145%, so, essentially, that’s a big difference between that and zero. But I think it’s going to work out,” the president said, hinting that a deal with China may be coming soon.

Trump rounded out his speech giving his supporters the promise of more accomplishments and success, pointing to the work Congress has to do.

“In the coming weeks and months, we will pass the largest tax cuts in American History — and that will include, No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Social Security, and No Tax on Overtime. It’s called the one big, beautiful bill,” Trump said.
