Tristan Thompson’s son is officially a third grader.
The NBA player, 34, shared a Reel on his Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 13, after he drove his 8-year-old son Prince to school. In the video, the father-son duo could be seen driving together, with Prince sitting up front with his dad.
“Someone’s in the front seat today, huh?” Thompson says at the beginning.
“You heading to school? There you go! Big third grader. What are you most excited about [for] third grade?” the dad of four asks his son as they walk towards the school.

“Getting the Chromebook,” Prince answers, noting, “you can bring them home and bring them to school.”
He also says he loves the prizes that he’ll be able to get in third grade before the two enter the school.
In addition to Prince, whom Tristan shares with ex Jordan Craig, the athlete is also dad to daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, who he shares with ex Khloé Kardashian. He shares son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols.

At the end of July, Tristan shared a few photos on his Instagram from his son Tatum’s third birthday party, which included a snap of Tatum posing with his sister True and cousin Dream Kardashian, 8, as well brother Prince.
True and Tatum could be seen posing together and smiling. True had her arms around her younger brother, while Dream wore Minnie Mouse ears and smiled between the siblings.
Prince could be seen peeking out from behind Dream, wearing white shorts and a light-colored T-shirt. Other photos showed Prince and Tatum eating cake together and enjoying the birthday festivities.
“Big hugs and kisses for my little Tatum’s Bday! I Love you forever young king 🤴 ❤️🎈This just the beginning more pics to come 🤫,” Tristan wrote in his caption.
Last September, Tristan shared additional rare photos with his son Prince on Instagram. He captioned the post, which was liked by Kim Kardashian, “👬🏾.”
In the first picture, Thompson wrapped his arms around Prince as the pair smiled at the camera. The NBA star wore a black tracksuit and a pair of black sunglasses, while he also appeared to be sporting matching white sneakers with his son, who was dressed in a cream T-shirt and coordinating sweatpants.
This was followed by a snap of the duo striking the same pose with their arms folded as they stood side-by-side.
