Trisha Yearwood just announced a new chapter by dropping a brand new album after a tumultuous year amid her husband Garth Brooks‘ lawsuit.
On Thursday, May 1, the country singer, 60, took to Instagram to reveal her upcoming album The Mirror.

“My first fully co-written and co-produced album, ‘The Mirror’ will be yours on July 18th,” Yearwood captioned her update. “This is a new chapter for me and one I cannot wait to share with you, so two songs are dropping tomorrow to give you a taste of what’s to come.”
In the accompanying video, Yearwood wrote on a mirror with a red marker: “The Mirror July 18.”
She concluded, “I am so proud of this record and hope you love it as much as I loved creating it. xoxo.”

In the comments, Yearwood’s fans shared their excitement for the upcoming new music.
One exclaimed, “I can’t wait!!!!! These songs are 🔥🔥🔥 I am so proud for you🥰.”

Yearwood’s career update came after Brooks was accused of sexual assault and battery in an October lawsuit by a woman, “Jane Roe,” who identified herself as one of his former hairstylists and makeup artists.
However, Brooks has denied all of the allegations, claiming they are “false and outrageous” and calling himself “the victim of a shakedown” that began four years ago in a statement shared with USA Today.
