In addition to being famous for his impressive skills on the football field (and his superstar girlfriend), Travis Kelce is known for his unique sense of style — and fans are particularly fascinated with the tight end’s ever-changing hair.
In fact, people are so curious about the fact that Kelce’s hair has been longer than usual lately that rumors started spreading online about the Kansas City Chiefs star getting a hair transplant. However, the athlete’s barber, Vince Garcia, says there’s no truth to the gossip.

“Nah, not at all, man,” Garcia told Us Weekly. “That’s a full head of hair right there.”
As Garcia explained, Kelce has been making regular visits to his barbershop for years.
“Ever since then we’ve grown a really great relationship,” he said.
“Throughout the years, he’ll come to my barbershop [or] he’ll come to my house and get cut,” he continued. “The majority of his commercials I’ve done with him. He keeps me around to get him ready for an appearance or a TV show. Over the years of doing that consistently with him, it’s just like any relationship. The more you see each other, the more you grow personally.”

“He’s a great dude, man. A great friend, as well,” Garcia added.
This certainly isn’t the first time Kelce’s longer locks have made headlines. In August 2024, teammate Patrick Mahomes told SiriusXM NFL Radio that he’d been trying to get Kelce to grow his hair longer for a long time, but it wasn’t until Taylor Swift suggested the same that he decided to give it a try.
“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it,” Mahomes said.
