“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially entering their marriage era. For months, fans have been speculating about whether, and when, the beloved couple would tie the knot. But now the pair have put the rumors to rest by announcing that they’ll be joining in holy matrimony with an Instagram post straight out of a love song.
In the engagement photos, the pair can be seen embracing underneath a flowery canopy, with close-ups of Taylor’s jaw-dropping emerald-cut diamond ring in a gold setting. The accompanying images show the two living in the moment, hugging and lounging on a bench with white pillows. For the momentous occasion, Swift wore a blue-and-white Ralph Lauren striped dress.
Taylor’s dress highlighted the brand’s timeless, pared-back approach to design. The A-line midi dress featured thin stripes that highlighted the shirred construction of the bodice, which flowed into a silk-blend skirt for a refined and refreshed finish.

As for Kelce, he wore a classic navy-blue sweater from Ralph Lauren. The sweater combines the signature silhouette of a Polo shirt, made from super-soft cotton yarn, with the brand’s iconic cable-knit motif. His sweater is a bit wider at the chest than a typical polo, but still maintains a modern silhouette. Kelce paired his All-American polo with crisp white shorts that hit just above the knee and slipped into some chocolate-brown suede slip-on loafer

Kelce is no stranger to making a style statement. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is known for his head-turning style on and off the football field, and once told Complex in 2021, “I think the football world is starting to kind of come around to being [sic] that fashion-forward mentality.” So, while we’re used to seeing him in playful, campy, and oversized clothes, this more preppy attire may signal that he’s entering a new style phase post-marriage.
