Tracee Ellis Ross just debuted her new Roku series, Solo Traveling, then gifted fans a behind-the-scenes peek at her time in Mexico.
The black–ish star is getting in on the travel craze and based on what her fans are saying, it’s a big hit. With just three 30-minute episodes, Ross takes viewers to Marrakesh, Cancún, and Marbella, and shows exactly why you should never wait for a partner to book a trip.
On Saturday, July 26, the 52-year-old actress shared photos and video footage from her time in Mexico that dazzled fans. The carousel started with an attention-grabber, as Ross posed for a selfie while wearing a red bandeau bikini and leaning over the edge of a pool.

From there, she showed off the iconic fashion the Hollywood star is known for, starting with a flowy white crop top and shorts covered by ecru rain gear, including a coat and boots that perfectly matched her shoulder bag.
She also shared a video while she lounged poolside in a towel with a tasty-looking drink and a jaw-dropping gauzy white wrap dress with knee-high boots. We got a better look at the rain gear and a video of Ross rocking the red bikini in the pool.
Possibly the most interesting look Ross shared in the Instagram post was an olive green bodycon dress with a gold neckline, worn with a matching green purse and sandals.
The fashion continued with red rain gear and a perfectly matching red purse, and at this point in the series of photos, it became clear that while Ross may be traveling solo, she’s packed enough clothes for a whole girls’ trip—which isn’t a huge surprise as she’s a self-proclaimed overpacker who recently shared her mantra: “Pack it all!”
Perhaps just as delightful were her interactions with a raccoon, and an aerial photo of the Solo Traveling star while wearing a white bandeau bikini as she lounged poolside wearing a pair of matching oversized white sunglasses.
There were also several more photos and videos that shared some gorgeous scenery, and meals that proved her palate is as discerning as her fashion sense.
In the caption, she wrote, “MEXICO 🇲🇽 tennis, tequila, rain, jungle cruises, placental mammals with claws….and rain.
