Tori Spelling Praises Podcast Guest Who Called Her ‘Super Old’ originally appeared on Parade.
Tori Spelling got a dose of uncomfortable truth while talking to Tanner Smith from Love on the Spectrum.
The chat was on Spelling’s latest episode of herpodcast, misSPELLING, which was released on Wednesday, July 23. In it, she spoke in depth with the Netflix breakout star about everything from his family to his job and even what time he wakes up in the morning.
It turns out that Smith wakes up at 6 a.m. for his job, and when Spelling asked him if he was OK with that, the Love on the Spectrum fan-favorite responded, “I’m young, ma’am, I’m 26. And besides, I’m going to retire when I’m 44.”

Exasperated, Spelling revealed, “I’m 52.”
Then, the reality star asked her, “How’s it feel to be 52?” To which she responded, “Not great, buddy!” Then explained that she also would have liked to retire at 44.
Then, the conversation shifted to how Smith always refers to her as “Miss Tori,” asking him if he would like it if she did the same for him.

Smith quickly responded, “Not really because I’m not super old right now. I’m only 26.”
Then, Spelling responded, asking, “Does that mean I’m super old?”
“No offense, but yes, Miss Tori,” he responded, adding, “I don’t mean like an old lady. You’re older than me.”
