Al Roker and Craig Melvin were the stars of the Today show, thanks to their twinning outfits.
The cohosts’ fashion senses were synced up during the Friday, August 8, episode of the beloved talk show – as they each wore beige suits. Al, 70, and Melvin’s blazers, trousers and shirt were almost identical in color. The meteorologist wore a trippy taupe tie and black dress shoes, whereas Craig, 46, donned show-stopping brown and beige shoes and a textured beige tie.
During the broadcast, cohost Dylan Dreyer stood out on her side of the desk, wearing a vibrant red dress. Savannah Guthrie sat next to Dylan, 44, in a more casual look as she rocked dark denim jeans, a white top with a tiny rose patch and a navy blue blazer that featured statement buttons. Craig and Al sat at the opposite end of the table from the women.
“I feel like there’s no color on this side of the table,” Dylan said about the men’s outfits.
“There’s plenty of color on this side,” Melvin quipped back, referencing their skin tone.
“This is NBC right here. Nothing but color,” Al added, motioning his hand back and forth between himself and Craig.
Fans who weren’t able to tune into the show got in on the hilarious moment as the cohosts continued the joke while participating in a social media trend.
“Sorry we’re late. Al and Craig were throwing a fit!” the text read over an Instagram video of Dylan mouthing the phrase.
The frame cut to Al and Craig slowly strutting toward the camera in their twinning ensembles.

“There’s no color over there,” one fan wrote in reference to Dylan’s comment. “The 4 of you were hysterical this morning! Love how you all get along! Great show!”
A second viewer replied, “[Laughing emoji] that was the best. I almost spit out my coffee.”
“Seeing double beige handsome! You all were hilarious with the no color. Your response was [fire],” a third fan wrote.
