The “Dune” star’s mother gave a glowing review of her son’s longtime girlfriend, signaling strong support for the couple’s future. The public stamp of approval comes not long after Chalamet reportedly shelled out $300,000 on a diamond ring for Jenner, hinting at a serious turn in their relationship. 

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have stayed in the spotlight since they first sparked dating rumors in 2023 and have been together ever since.

Flender opened up about her son’s relationship with Jenner, offering her take on the famous beauty mogul. While discussing her career shift from performer to real estate agent, the mother-of-two revealed that she thinks highly of Jenner. In her words:

A luxury real estate consultant involved in the search revealed that Chalamet, whose father is French, saw buying in Europe as a “brilliant move,” given how often he jets across the continent for work. 

Jenner, meanwhile, was said to be just as eager to plant roots in two of the fashion world’s capitals. Insiders noted that the pair had visited a range of listings and “should be making a decision pretty soon on which one or ones they will buy.”

Chalamet appears to be fully committed to his relationship, from house-hunting with Jenner to reportedly purchasing a $300K diamond ring crafted by a top Parisian jeweler featuring 150 sparkling diamonds.

Sources close to the couple revealed that the Academy Awards nominee has been planning his proposal for “a couple of months,” making sure the ring was perfect for Jenner.

His dedication to finding the right piece reportedly led him to visit luxury boutiques in New York and Paris, where he eventually selected the ring from a renowned French designer. 

“The ring, made by the Parisian designer, is incredibly special and will take six weeks to complete. He is ready to get engaged and envisions a long, happy future with Kylie,” the source shared.

Friends of the couple have shared that the actor is happier than ever, with an insider revealing, “I have never seen him so happy. He has been telling us for a while now how deeply in love he is.”

The 29-year-old is said to have been quietly planning the proposal for several months, considering various romantic locations. Paris is in the lead as a location for the proposal, though he also has his eyes set on the French Riviera, where he knows a few intimate spots perfect for the occasion.

Sources describe their relationship as filled with love and support, noting how much they miss each other when apart. In the words of a friend of the pair:

“They love each other so much and miss each other deeply when they’re apart. They’re constantly talking about life plans and building the strongest foundation for a future together.”

Chalamet and Jenner stirred breakup rumors after what seemed to be an uncomfortable courtside interaction went viral. The couple attending the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, became the center of attention for all the wrong reasons.

Fans noticed an awkward kiss and strained body language between the two, and a forensic lipreader, Jeremy Freeman, shared that Jenner had asked Chalamet for a photo of them kissing.

Though he complied, his eyes remained locked on the match. As Jenner leaned in, Chalamet reportedly said, “Wait a minute, love,” keeping his eyes open throughout the kiss. Jenner then urged him, “Eye contact!” prompting a distracted, “Go on… yum, yep,” from the actor. 

Later, Chalamet leaned back in his seat, seemingly in pain, as Jenner laughed and asked if he was okay. He brushed it off when she tried to comfort him, saying, “No problem, I’m good, don’t worry about it.”

While neither star has confirmed the ring’s purpose, Timothée Chalamet’s mother’s approval fuels the speculation that the couple could be heading toward the next chapter.
