Timothée Chalamet is full of team spirit, and he’s using his wardrobe to show it.
The A Complete Unknown actor, 29, was spotted at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday, May 21, to cheer on the New York Knicks in game one of the NBA’s 2025 Eastern Conference Finals, in which they faced off against the Indiana Pacers.
Chalamet sat courtside for the first game in the series and wore a look that features the Knicks’ signature blue and orange team colors. To keep warm, he layered a striped jacket over a white top, and went bold for his bottoms, adding a pair of bright orange Chrome Hearts jeans with the brand’s custom ornate crosses in patches.

On his feet, Chalamet donned a sporty take on traditional wheat colored Timberland boots. The boots were a collaboration between Chrome Hearts and Timberland, and include the Chrome Hearts logo in the Knicks blue and orange, as well as additional unique touches with silver eyelets with ornate embossed details.

Despite Chalamet’s flashy shoes, the Knicks lost to the Pacers in stunning last-minute fashion, 135-138 in overtime. The Knicks will try to move on from the loss on Friday, May 23, in game 2 at Madison Square Garden. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET.

Chalamet’s May 21 outfit isn’t the only time that he’s stepped out in Knicks-inspired gear. The actor has been spotted frequently at the team’s games, showing off his New York pride.
On May 16, Chalamet wore a Chrome Hearts tracksuit in a dark navy blue. The two piece set featured sporty white and orange stripes, with the brand’s cross logo placed on the left breast side of the jacket.

For an even sportier touch, Chalamet paired the look with his Knicks Chrome Hearts x Timberland boots and added an orange polo t-shirt white blue and white stripes. He wore the polo with the collar popped, recalling the trend of men wearing their polos with the collars flipped up in the 2000s.

For the Knicks’ Eastern Conference second-round game against the Boston Celtics on May 14, Chalamet wore an oversized New York Knicks sports jacket with a camouflage printed top, baggy blue jeans, and his Chrome Hearts x Timberland boots.
