Tim McGraw announced a major career move after a serious health struggle that forced him to cancel the rest of his tour in 2024.
On Tuesday, May 6, the “Love Like You Were Dying” Crooner, 58, took to Instagram to promote his first concert in nearly a year since experiencing health problems on his Standing Room Only Tour.

“Saddle up! We’ll see you May 31 at the Music City Rodeo!” McGraw captioned his update.
In the video, the country crooner offered more details about the event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
“We’re rehearsing, guys, for our first show back in almost a year,” he said while surrounded by his band and crew members. “May 31st, we’re going to be headlining that night.”
McGraw promised fans, “It’s going to be exciting. We are ready to go. And trust me, we are ready to play.”

Folks in the comments could hardly contain their excitement for McGraw’s big return.

Meanwhile, yet another follower commented, “Bring it 🙌.”
In June, McGraw abruptly canceled the remaining dates of his tour after sustaining an injury.
“In close consultation with his doctors, Tim McGraw will undergo necessary orthopedic surgery on both knees this month due to an injury sustained on tour,” Sandia Resort & Casino shared on Instagram. “Unfortunately, this will prevent him from performing any shows for the remainder of this year.”
We’re glad that he’s feeling much better and finally getting to do what he loves most!
