Picking out your wedding dress may be the most important decision you make leading up to the big day—well, second to finding the right partner, of course. One bride took matters into her own hands by designing and crafting her dream gown—something she dreamed of doing ever since she was a little girl.
Reddit user ApprehensiveCan7270 took to the platform to show off her creation: a blush colored A-line dress with lace overlay and green and white floral appliqués. “Fulfilled my childhood dream of sewing my own wedding dress,” she titled her post in the r/MadeMeSmile subreddit.

She styled the bespoke piece with a chunky bracelet, beaded necklace, and a matching flower crown that sat atop her wavy red bob. For his part, the groom wore a coordinating forest green suit.
