Jesse Lally is enjoying the easiness of his daughter’s relationship with his girlfriend.
On Monday, April 28, The Valley star, 44, spoke with PEOPLE at An Unforgettable Evening Benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund in Beverly Hills, Calif., and shared some insight into his 5-year-old daughter Isabella’s relationship with his girlfriend, Lacy Nicole.
“She is not on the show this year, but that was a choice that we made,” Lally says of Nicole. “You know, both starting a new relationship at the time, but also introducing Isabella to a woman that’s not her mother for the first time.”
He explains, “It’s a very sensitive situation that we had to navigate. And we talked about it together and came up with a plan.”

As for how that first meeting went, the proud dad tells PEOPLE it went “really well.”
“It was just after Valentine’s Day. We celebrated together,” Lally shares. “It went really well. They got along really well, and they still get along.”
Speaking of Nicole’s philanthropic work, Lally calls her an “incredible influence” on Isabella.
“She’s an incredible influence on my daughter, which is one of the reasons I introduced her to my daughter, the only other person who’s ever met her, because she’s such a stable, sophisticated woman,” says Lally. “She’s a real inspiration for my daughter.”

In May 2024, during an appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Lally confirmed that he was “newly” dating Nicole, telling the outlet, “I’m super happy right now.”
“We’ve been great friends,” Lally said of his girlfriend. “She’s just a very amazing person and she’s, like, a beautiful soul.”
The real estate developer also said that his romance is very “grounding,” noting that Lacy “definitely grounds me for sure because she doesn’t let me get away with anything, which is nice.”
“It’s just new,” he continued. “No labels, no nothing. It’s just fun to spend time with somebody again.”
Lally split from ex-wife and castmate Michelle Saniei after six years of marriage last year. The pair tied the knot in October 2018, according to Bravo, and share their daughter, Isabella, who was born in April 2020.
