Tate Donovan and his wife, Corry Scheuerman, are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary!
The actor, 61, revealed his plans to go on a family vacation to mark the milestone celebration in an exclusive chat with PEOPLE at the Proof of Concept screening event in Hollywood, Calif. on Tuesday, April 29.
“We’ve got a son in college right now, so we are kind of focused on what does he want to do. We’d love to take a trip with him, that would be great,” Donovan tells PEOPLE, referring to the couple’s 19-year-old son, Luc.
The O.C. alum says he and his wife are “big fans” of Europe and that he would love to go there as a family to celebrate, after having visited many times before.
“Europe just blows our mind,” says Donovan. “Almost every country in Europe is just like we’re big fans of. So hopefully I think I might have a job in France this year, and hopefully we’ll sort of segue a little trip into France. That would be amazing.”

Donovan and Scheuerman started dating in 2008 and tied the knot in 2015. Donovan was previously married to Corinne Kingsbury for three years before the pair divorced in 2008.
In June 2024, Donovan posted a romantic video on Instagram of himself and Scheuerman on vacation together in Umbria, Italy. “Moments in Umbria together #🇮🇹,” he wrote in the caption.
In the montage clip, the couple is seen al fresco dining together as Scheuerman holds a glass of white wine by a balcony, hiking up a hill, sightseeing as they visit some ancient buildings in the town and strolling the streets.
In July 2021, Donovan marked his sixth wedding anniversary with Scheuerman in a heartfelt Instagram post as he shared a photo of the pair biking together. “13 yrs of bike rides and 6 of marriage with this gorgeous creature #❤️ #anniversary,” he wrote in tribute to his wife in the caption.
