Fans of the hit 1990s sitcom The Nanny were in awe of the show’s star Fran Drescher‘s latest update, as the actress reunited with multiple cast members to celebrate a very special project.

The 67-year-old took to Instagram on Aug. 10 to share photos and a special tribute to her experience the night before at the Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, Mass., where a production called Dying is No Excuse, written by her The Nanny co-star Renée Taylor, is being put on. The show explores the life of Taylor and her late husband, fellow actor Joe Bologna, who died in 2017.

Drescher described the production in the caption, writing, “Renee at 92 is a magical genius who opens and closes the show. The flashback scenes beginning when Renee was 30 and goes through all of their life together thru The Nanny and Joe’s battle with cancer.”

But what made it even more special was that The Nanny actress Nicholle Tom, who played Maggie Sheffield, stars as Renee in the flashbacks in the production, while costume designer Brenda Cooper, who won an Emmy for her work on The Nanny, did the costumes for Dying is No Excuse.

Drescher posed with Taylor and Tom in photos taken last night, with the former co-stars smiling brightly together. Taylor played Sylvia Fine in The Nanny, the mother of Drescher’s character, Fran Fine. Drescher also tagged former co-star Charles Shaughnessy in the update, but it’s unclear if he was at the show as well.
