The Gilded Age will return for a fourth season.
The Julian Fellowes-created HBO series earned a season 4 renewal two weeks ahead of its season 3 finale, HBO announced Monday, July 28.
This comes as the show continues to climb in the ratings, with its July 20 episode — the fifth of this season — clinching a series high of 4 million U.S. viewers in its Live+3 ratings, a metric which measures the number of viewers who watch a program within three days of its initial broadcast, per the network.
The Gilded Age‘s third season has had five weeks of continued growth, leading to a 20% growth over last season, and is also reaching its highest-ever weekly viewership on HBO Max.
The show’s official Instagram account also shared the season 4 renewal news.
A video featuring scenes of characters reacting in shock and excitement from the current season plays against the show’s theme song.
Social media posts from fans clamoring for a fourth season are also shown on the screen.
