Amazon Prime Video has revealed a first-look at “Vought Rising,” the upcoming prequel to “The Boys.”
The new image reveals the supersuits of Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Mason Dye as Bombsight, Will Hochman as Torpedo, and Elizabeth Posey as Private Angel.

Along with Ackles, Dye, Hochman, and Posey, Aya Cash will also star in “Vought Rising,” reprising her role as Stormfront. Additional cast members include Jorden Myrie, Nicolò Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith. Production recently got underway.
“Vought Rising” was originally ordered at Prime Video in July 2024. The show has been described as a “twisted murder mystery” that will take place in the 1950s. The series is being showrun by Paul Grellong who will executive produce alongside “The Boys” creator Eric Kripke. Additional executive producers include Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr, and Jim Barnes. Cash and Ackles are both producers.
“The Boys” prequel hails from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Rogen and Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures and Original Film.
Production recently wrapped on the fifth and final season of “The Boys,” which has been a breakout hit for Prime Video. Along with the mothership series and “Vought Rising,” Prime Video also has the college-set sister series “Gen V” and animated anthology “The Boys Presents: Diabolical.”
