However, these are not the only special shopping dates for when you can get high-end purchases at discount prices. There are actually a few times during the year where you can score big on luxury items that otherwise might be out of your price range.

Ready to go shopping for some treat-yourself items? Have you saved your disposal income? GOBankingRates did a round up of the best time of the year to buy these four luxuries, so set your spending dates accordingly.

Jewelry
According to Clay Cary, senior trends analyst at CouponFollow, the ideal time to buy high-end jewelry is in late February and March.
“Many retailers experience a dip in sales shortly after the holiday, and after-Valentine sales of leftovers can mean drastic reductions in fine jewelry,” Cary went on to say. “In February and March, the discounts go as low as 20% to 40%, usually for diamond jewelry or gold items that failed to sell for Valentine’s Day.”
A word to the wise consumer from Cary: Try not to go shopping for top-tiered jewelry in December, because that is the time of the year the demand soars and costs rise.

Fashion Accessories
Melissa Cid, consumer savings expert for MySavings.com, found the best times to score deals on designer purses and handbags are in the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day and after New Years when stores do clearance on their stock after the holidays.
“Brands like Coach, Kate Spade and Michael Kors often have coupon codes to pair up with these sales that can get you up to 80% off,” shared Cid.
Furniture
If you are looking for a new living room set or completely redecorating your kitchen, there’s two times of the year that Cary advised shoppers to keep in their sights: The start of the year and the middle of the year. That’s because showrooms will bring out new products in February and August, so January and July are the best months of the year to find the low and clearance sales.
“You will find the items for 30% to 60% off in the floor models, cancelled shipments and out-of-season items,” Cary explained. “Also, look for the Presidents’ Day weekend and the Fourth of July weekend, when the retailers will supersede percentage markdowns with extra percentage-off sales, so make a note of those days in your calendar!”
Electronics
For high-ticket products such as OLED televisions, high-end stereos and flagships, Cary admitted that Black Friday tends to offer the deepest percentage discount, somewhere in the range of 40% or so.
“But if the November sales event passed you by, then early January is the heavily discounted after-holiday, open-box products and after-holiday return sales event,” added Cary. “The shops, in return, are clearing out the last-gen products.”
