Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre are Instagram official.
On Saturday, June 7, the “Gonna Love Me” singer and Underground Railroad actor marked Pierre’s 31st birthday while hard-launching their relationship on social media.
“Cheers to Thirty-WON & many more wins around the sun. 🌹,” Taylor, 34, captioned their cozy selfie. “H”AP”PY BIRTHDAY Woody 🎈.” Pierre responded to her loved-up post, writing: “Now and always. Thank you Tey 🌹.”
Taylor also surprised Pierre with a birthday party to celebrate another year, per a fan-captured TikTok video of an Instagram screen recording. In the clip, Pierre is shocked when entering a venue and then kisses Taylor, all smiles.
“My bestie did her BIG ONE for her man, her man, her man! I just love you guys,” the text on the video read with a heart-heads emoji. “Look at the smiles. The surprise, the FaceTime calls of her planning it downnnn. Love love love.”

Taylor and Pierre sparked romance rumors months ago when they posed together at the 2025 Oscars Vanity Fair afterparty in March and both shared the picture on their respective Instagram pages.
One image featured them back-to-back, staring directly at the camera. The others had them facing off in dramatic poses.
They also appeared together at the American Black Film Festival Honors on Feb. 17. The musician and Mufasa: The Lion King actor were reportedly photographed while sitting together and in deep conversation at the ceremony.
Most recently, Pierre starred in Taylor’s music video for her new single, “Long Time,” which was released on Wednesday, June 4. In the visual, Taylor appears to battle with a toxic relationship with an ex, played by LaKeith Stanfield, and Pierre comes to the rescue.
Toward the end of the music video, when Pierre carries away Taylor, she grabs his hand. The song is part of Taylor’s album and its accompanying short film, Escape Room, which is slated for release in August. The trailer for the short film features a steamy moment between Taylor and Pierre.
Taylor also seemingly called Pierre her “apple pie” when accepting the inaugural Innovator Award at the Apollo Spring Benefit 2025 in Harlem on Wednesday, June 4.

Taylor was previously married to Iman Shupert. She filed for divorce from the NBA star in January 2023 and the former couple announced their separation later that year.
They share two daughters: Junie, 9, and Rue Rose, 4.
