‘Teen Witch’ Stars Reunite Over 35 Years Later – and They Look Exactly the Same originally appeared on Parade.
Forget unrecognizable. Robyn Lively, who rose to stardom as Louise Miller in the 1989 teen fantasy comedy Teen Witch, looks the same as she did over 35 years ago.
The redheaded actress, 53, took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of herself and costar Maddy Ingber, who played Louise’s best friend Polly in the classic flick, which told the story of an insecure high schooler who casts a love spell and becomes the most popular girl in school.
“Who said Louise and Polly didn’t reconcile?! Theory debunked 👯♀️🩷 #friendsforlife,” Lively captioned the photo.
In the second slide, Lively showed a new photo of the two from the present day, hugging and looking almost the same as they did back in 1989. Both sporting jeans and sweaters, the duo looked great.

Lively, who is the older sister of blockbuster actress Blake Lively, previously shared that she had no idea the impact Teen Witch would have on young people. While the film wasn’t an instant hit when it debuted, it became a cult classic that generations of viewers came to love.
“Teen Witch holds the number one spot for decades now,” she told PEOPLE. “Nothing compares. People absolutely love that film, and it’s resonated with so many generations. I had no idea when we were filming it that it would end up being … I just had no clue. It’s so dear and beloved to me because of that.”
