Teddi Mellencamp is back in action.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who received the news in February that her cancer had metastasized to her lungs and brain, making it stage 4, made an appearance at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango Presented by Fiji Airways on Saturday, May 10 — and exclusively took Parade along for the ride.
“Getting glammed is always more fun when the kiddos are involved,” Mellencamp tells Parade. “They tell me, ‘Mommy doesn’t need it,’ but she disagrees!”

The 43-year-old, who introduced singer Meghan Trainor at the music festival in Huntington Beach, Calif., has been dealing with melanoma on and off since 2022, but recently underwent brain surgery.
Over Mother’s Day weekend, she was able to spend some quality time with her family and enjoyed getting ready to go out.
“We’re just here to celebrate our family,” Mellencamp said on her iHeartRadio “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, which she recorded from the event. “And I have to say thank you to everybody in this room who has done so much for me throughout the past couple of months as I’ve not been feeling my best. This is the first time I’ve been to a live show since all this happened, so I’m really glad you guys are here to kind of take care of me.”
The Housewives star was there with her three kids, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5, whom she shares with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, as well as stepdaughter Isabella “Bella” Arroyave, 16.

“I was excited to celebrate Mother’s Day a day early with you guys because I was like, ‘I know tomorrow I’m going to be spent regardless.’ So I was like, I want to do something amazing with them,” she said. “And looking out at this view… I absolutely cannot.”
Ryan Seacrest hosted the outdoor event, featuring a lineup that included Doja Cat, Trainor, DJ David Guetta, Gwen Stefani and more.

“I always score cool mom points getting to take the kids to Wango Tango. And I think I got bonus ones this year since they got to go on stage and present!” Mellencamp tells Parade. “iHeart always knows how to put on an amazing show! We were thoroughly entertained the whole night… well, as long of a night as Mom could last, cause she’s tired!”
As for the family’s Mother’s Day plans, Mellencamp said on the podcast that she intends to “relax because I’m able to have all of the kids here today.”
She added, “The fact that Bella, Slate, Cruz and Dove could all be here, and the fact that we could celebrate together. It’s been a different kind of year for us, so today is my celebration, and tomorrow is my relax day.”
