A countdown on Taylor Swift’s website is leading fans to stay up until 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12, and a clip from this week’s “New Heights” podcast dropped at 10 p.m. ET.
The countdown appeared the evening of Aug. 11 with a dazzling orange background.
Swifties began speculating a new era was on the horizon after Taylor Nation, the singer’s in-house marketing team, posted to Instagram on the morning of August 11: “Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era…’ ❤️🔥.” The 12-photo carousel featured her orange bodysuits and dresses from the Eras Tour, along with a shot of her and Sabrina Carpenter during the surprise song set in New Orleans.

Not long before the Taylor Nation post, Travis Kelce’s account and the “New Heights” podcast page jointly teased a “VERY special guest” for an episode on Aug. 13. Centered between the Kelce brothers was a silhouette resembling Swift, sending fans into a frenzy. The same glittery orange backdrop was behind the three figures.
In a “New Heights” podcast clip released at 10 p.m. Swift is seated next to Travis.
“Such a nice color on you,” Swift says.
“Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie,” Travis responds. “It’s why we match so well.”
“We’re about to do a f***ing podcast,” Swift says.
