Taylor Swift Fans Spotted These Major Easter Eggs in ‘New Heights’ Teaser originally appeared on Parade.
Taylor Swift’s latest Easter egg hunt has officially begun—and of course, Swifties are already on it.
On Monday, August 11, the New Heights podcast confirmed what fans had been speculating all day: the 35-year-old Eras Tour icon is the special guest on Wednesday’s episode.
“Taylor’s about to do a f*cking podcast!” read the Instagram caption, alongside a teaser clip of the singer sitting next to boyfriend Travis Kelce in the recording studio. At one point, Swift says to him, “Such a nice color on you,” with Kelce, 35, replying, “Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. It’s why we match so well.”

One thing Swifties caught immediately? The teaser clocks in at exactly 13 seconds… Swift’s lucky number. And the episode’s August 13 release date? Another not-so-subtle nod. The award-winning artist has called 13 her “lucky number” for years—she was born on December 13, turned 13 on a Friday the 13th, and her first album went gold in 13 weeks. She’s even been known to write the number on her hand before performances.
of course the teaser to the taylor swift podcast epi is 13 seconds long

Shortly after the teaser dropped, Swifties were in full meltdown mode.
“EVERYONE STAY CALM,” one person wrote.
“Suddenly, my entire personality is just ‘waiting for Wednesday,’” another said.

One fan summed it up perfectly: “This is more than just an album drop — it’s a cultural event. The fact that Taylor is sharing her new music in Travis’s podcast is iconic on so many levels. Two worlds colliding in the best way possible: football meets lyrical genius. Can’t wait to soak in every word, every melody, and replay it until I know every line by heart. This is what we call a power couple move.”
Even Coca-Cola joined in, posting, “Cancelling our plans bc Taylor called 😭.”

The New Heights reveal capped off a morning of Swift-fueled chaos. Earlier that day, her website transformed into a glittery orange countdown set to 12:12 PT—a number fans instantly connected to her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Sure enough, Swift confirmed the album’s title in a follow-up clip, unveiling a mint-green briefcase with the letters “T.S.” in bright orange and teasing the blurred cover art.
Taylor Nation fanned the flames by posting a carousel of 12 orange-themed photos exactly 12 minutes after the initial teaser went live. The orange aesthetic wasn’t random. As Elle points out, it’s been a kind of “visual shorthand” for Swift’s reinvention—showing up in the Reputation snake era, the rainbow palette of Lover, and even her final Eras Tour stop, when she left the stage through the orange “Karma” door instead of her usual route.

And the Easter eggs didn’t stop there—Jason Kelce showed up in the promo wearing an Eras Tour shirt, and Republic Records (Swift’s label since 2018) liked the post. Paired with the orange theme and number references, fans were convinced these were deliberate nods to The Life of a Showgirl.
An official release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but Swift’s website notes that pre-ordered vinyl and cassette editions are expected to ship ahead of Monday, Oct. 13.
