Taylor Swift kept fans on the edge of their seats Tuesday, starting a mysterious sparkly orange countdown for an upcoming announcement set for 12:12 AM ET on August 12 … and it is none other than her 12th studio album titled ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’
TS is known for her Easter egg hints, however, this one caught many of her fans by surprise — and boyfriend Travis Kelce exposed to loyal Swifties that he has been in on the news by allowing her to announce the project on his and brother Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast.
As you can see in the video, the bros were especially supportive of the news — Travis is extra cheesy as Taylor opens a teal briefcase with her initials ‘T.S.’ written on the front and pulls out a blurred vinyl — causing Jason’s jaw to plummet to the ground.
Swift’s official website loaded at 12:12 AM ET, displaying a vinyl, cassette and poster — hidden behind a blurred image with a lock — only showing the prices of each, ranging from $12.99 – $29.99.
