Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce still feel “So High School” in their relationship — despite concern from some fans who believe their respective solo outings (and Kelce’s alleged unfollowing of Ryan Reynolds) were signs of a split.
Despite the fan fear, Swift and Kelce, both 35, are “still so in love and enjoying spending time with their friends and each other during the offseason,” a source told Page Six in a report published on Tuesday, April 29. “There’s no trouble at all.”
The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end kicked off their break from the spotlight earlier this year, following the December 2024 finale of Swift’s historic Eras Tour and the end of Kelce’s football season in February, which wrapped up after the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl.
While the couple have been spotted on multiple low-key getaways in the months since — enjoying time together in Utah, Montana, and Swift’s New York City — they’ve recently made headlines for their respective solo jaunts, with the “Fortnight” singer reportedly attending close friend Gigi Hadid‘s birthday party in New York this week and Kelce playing golf and poker in Las Vegas.
Kelce’s alleged unfollowing of Reynolds — who, of course, is one of Swift’s good friends and husband to one of her closest celeb pals, Blake Lively — also played a part in the concern from fans.
One person riled up the fanbase by posting “taylor and travis break up proof,” citing the couple’s recent time apart and Kelce allegedly unfollowing Reynolds as evidence the couple had split. Others, however, were clearly not buying it, with one Swiftie bluntly responding: “Seek help.”
In response to a TikTok video discussing the rumors, one fan wrote, “I hope Taylor and Travis are ok. Travis unfollowing RR is bold. She’s the godmother of their children,” the user said, referring to Swift’s godmother role to Lively and Reynolds’ three daughters. The fan further speculated: “Either Taylor and Ryan are done or Travis and Taylor are done.”
Another person commented on the TikTok claiming that Kelce also unfollowed Hadid, (though it’s unclear if he ever followed her in the first place).
Dozens of other Swifties, however, stood up for Swift and condemned those spreading rumors.
“Does this look like a man who him and his girlfriend broke up?” one person asked rhetorically on X in response to a New Heights clip of Kelce lighting up and laughing.
The answer was a resounding, all-caps “NO” from another X user. “Just because Travis went to participate in a charity golf tournament (which he does every year) in Las Vegas crazy rumors start flying,” they posted in response. “And Taylor may have gone to Gigi’s BD party. We need to shut this down.”
“People ask why Taylor wants privacy rn and then go and stalk her flights (Travis’s also) who her boyfriend follow[s] and unfollow[s],” another fan opined. “We have freak[s] writing breakup post[s] everyday and trying to prove it. I wonder why she might want some privacy when her fan[s] take away so much from her.”
As a source told People earlier this month, the couple are enjoying their “special time” away from the public eye.
“They’ve been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it. They are hanging out with friends, too,” the insider said. “It’s a special time for them.” In fact, the duo are “very serious,” the source said, adding that Swift and Kelce are “in sync” and “value the same things.”
“Right now,” the insider emphasized, “the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
