Due to sluggish first-quarter earnings, Target is attempting to attract customers back into its stores with lower prices. During the first quarter earnings call, Rick Gomez, Target’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, shared that first quarter net sales were down by 2.8%. “Overall results are not delivering at the level we want,” he said.
