Tammy Hembrow is opening up about her reported new romance with Australian Football League star Bailey Smith.
Just weeks after announcing her divorce from husband Matt Zukowski in a TikTok video on June 21, the Australian model and fitness influencer, 31, was spotted out and about on Australia’s Gold Coast on a lunch date with Smith, the Daily Mail reported.
Now, Hembrow is speaking out about her possible new relationship for the first time since that initial sighting.
Speaking with Australian newspaper the Herald Sun in Melbourne, Hembrow told the outlet, “I’m not going to say anything about Bailey except he’s a sweetie, he’s a good guy.”
Hembrow also declined to comment on whether or not she would appear with the AFL midfielder, 24, at the Brownlow Medal award ceremony, which is an award given to the “Fairest and Best” player in the AFL, in September.
Hembrow and Love Island Australia star Zukowski, 29, first got engaged in December 2023, after only three months of dating. Per the Daily Mail and Australian outlet News.com.au, the couple tied the knot on Nov. 23, 2024.
In her June TikTok, Hembrow opened up about her anxiety surrounding the announcement, telling followers, “I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am going to be getting a divorce,” while also making clear that she didn’t want to get too specific about the split or “bring anyone down.”

“Did I think this was gonna happen? Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it’s gonna be forever,” she continued. “And I blame no one but myself, to be honest.”
“I feel like I’ve made not the best choices when it comes to relationships. And I feel like I’m really good at putting on rose-colored glasses or just getting swept up in it all,” she added.
Hembrow has three children: son Wolf, 10, and daughter Saskia, 8, shared with her ex Reece Hawkins, as well as daughter Posy, 3, with former partner Matt Poole.

In addition to her regular fitness and fashion content, Hembrow has kept followers updated on her life as a single mom, sharing a video on Aug. 12 of her and her three children waking up early to catch the sunrise before going to school.
In the TikTok video addressing the divorce, Hembrow became increasingly emotional, describing the effect of her split from Zukowski on her children as “the worst part.”
Hembrow said she is focusing on her kids and “healing” amid the divorce.

Zukowski also confirmed the pair’s split on his Instagram Stories.
“It’s with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate,” the reality star wrote.
“Both of us have struggled with making this decision however, we need to do what is right for ourselves and her three children. This wasn’t a decision we took lightly…,” he added.
At the time, representatives for Hembrow and Zukowski did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
