Leave It to Beaver was an incredibly popular sitcom that aired on CBS and ABC from 1957 to 1963. Its adult cast members, Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont, plus then-teenager Tony Dow, have all passed away, but many of the children on the show are still going strong, and they just held a reunion that had fans super excited.
Jerry Mathers, 77, who played the titular Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver starting at age 9, posted a photo to Facebook of himself with co-stars Stephen Talbot (Gilbert), Jeri Weil (Judy), Luke Tiger Fafara (Tooey) and Veronica Cartwright (Violet Rutherford). The five got together for The Hollywood Show, which is a huge autograph show held in Los Angeles three times a year.

“I had so much fun at our Leave it to Beaver reunion at the The Hollywood Show recently…Thank you to everyone who came out to see us!” wrote Mathers on the post.
In the comments, fans thought they all looked great and were so excited to see them all together again.
“Every one of you looks wonderful! You were so perfectly cast in your roles that you were absolutely real to us and part of our lives until we had to say goodbye as if you just moved away. “Just saw the episode yesterday where Violet kisses the Beaver! 😂 so great! And the pic of it too that you were trying to hide in the magazine!” wrote a third fan.
A fourth fan wrote, “Great photo. My gosh, I have to give you all a big thank you for sharing your sitcom with us. In fact, I still watch it; I need to, it helps keep me centered. Since I’m 68, I find it so relatable. I remember when I was a kid, that quarter went a long way. I didn’t hold a dollar bill until I was in 6th grade. Blessings to you all. 💙🙏.”
