Seen on everyone from Timothée Chalamet to Chappell Roan, the trucker hat has become a staple accessory for some of Hollywood’s most stylish celebrities; and now, Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson are giving the headwear their stamp of approval.
With the weather warming up, the new parents have had more opportunities to show off their coordinated street style, and most recently, they brought country-core to the big city as they took a stroll throughout Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon.
For the outing, Waterhouse—typically a boho proponent—made a surprise swivel by embracing her inner Daisy Duke. Her look consisted of a rusty plaid button-up and some light-wash jeans, which were cinched with a black leather belt adorned with a silver buckle—the perfect Southern touch.
To complete her look, the “Supersad” singer slipped into a pair of silver Nike P-6000 sneakers, while throwing on a vintage distressed trucker hat and two (yes, two) pairs of sunglasses—one was on her face, while the other was clipped onto the top of her shirt.
Pattinson matched his partner’s vibe by throwing on his own trucker hat: a two-tone Dickies mesh cap, which really leaned into workwear.
The rest of his fit was equally on-theme thanks to a navy-blue top with a subtle checkered pattern and some matching cotton joggers. The Mickey 17 actor also slipped into his own viral sneakers, choosing the Adidas Busenitz Vulc II shoes for the walk. The one area in which he diverged from the assignment? He stuck with only one pair of sunglasses.
