Suki Waterhouse and Logan Lerman Transform Into Italian Movie Stars for Michael Kors

For its Fall 2025 campaign, Michael Kors tapped two of its biggest brand ambassadors—Suki Waterhouse and Logan Lerman—to star in a shoot that was photographed on the streets of Rome.

Captured by Lachlan Bailey, Waterhouse and Lerman look like Italian movie stars as they pose amongst the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, and the Fountain of Acqua Paola, in looks that were styled by Emmanuelle Alt.

“Rome, for me, is just a city that inspires awe, no matter how much time I spend there,” designer Kors said in a statement. “It’s cinematic, it’s dramatic, it’s urban, it’s got a pulse, and it has all this incredible natural beauty and history. When you combine that with the modern, laid-back elegance of Suki Waterhouse and the classic movie star energy that Logan Lerman brings, it creates an unforgettable campaign.” We couldn’t agree more.

Miu Miu Taps French Filmmaker Alice Diop for the 30th Edition of Its Women’s Tales Series

For the 30th chapter of its Women’s Tales series, Miu Miu tapped French filmmaker Alice Diop, who directed a short film titled Fragments for Venus, which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival’s Giornate degli Autori on August 30th.

The Women’s Tales series has been going on since 2011, remaining the longest-running commissioning platform of female-led short films.

Diop is known for her documentaries such as La Permanence (2016) and Nous (2020), and debut narrative film, Saint Omer (2022), was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.

On making her Women’s Tales project, Diop said: “I’ve been making films from the margins, with a political intention of filming those margins, because those are the people I come from. That’s my territory, my history. Fragments for Venus is an essential film to make at this time. It is my most simple and radical work to date.”

Cate Blanchett Becomes a Global Brand Ambassador for Uniqlo

Welcome to the Uniqlo family, Cate Blanchett.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the Academy Award-winning actress will become a global brand ambassador for the Japanese brand, in a role that will involve advancing the label’s LifeWear philosophy—an effort by the brand to combat fast fashion.

The collaboration makes sense, given Blanchett’s dedication to sustainability in fashion. In a statement, the Disclaimer star said: “I value the ambition of Uniqlo to make life better through its LifeWear apparel: timeless design, perfected simplicity, affordable, accessible, quality clothing that lasts. I am energized by the opportunity to help Uniqlo advance important aspects of its LifeWear philosophy-supporting the next generation, playing a part in highlighting and combatting the ongoing global displacement crisis, giving back to communities, and finding meaningful ways to contribute to a more equitable world.”

The two American brands have teamed up for a six-piece capsule collection, which consists of apparel, accessories, and footwear that will launch on September 19, in stores and online.

While the North Face has been a dominant force in outerwear for years, it appears the brand is leaning more into streetwear, as evidenced by this new collab with the beloved, New York-based Aimé Leon Dore.

“Our collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore inspired us to reimagine iconic The North Face pieces originally born on the mountain,” said David Whetstone, the North Face’s Director of Global Collaborations and Energy. “We’ve elevated classics like the Nuptse, Denali, Borealis and Verto with pinnacle materializations like Casentino Wool, Leather, and Ballistic Nylon which have unlocked a new depth of color within our Summit Gold, The North Face Blue and Evergreen iconic colors. Aimé Leon Dore’s focused point of view enhanced these icons from our DNA with careful consideration.”

Alex Consani Gets Contorted in New Victorian Gothic McQueen Campaign

The McQueen Fall/Winter 2025 campaign is here, and it’s led by Alex Consani, alongside models Athiec Geng, Chu Wong, and Libby Taverner, who all lean into the provocative in a fabulously-shot photoshoot by Glen Luchford.

Here, creative director Seán McGirr’s designs borrow from the codes of the Victorian Gothic, and the looks consist of belt-covered tops, lacy boots, ruffled dresses, and billowing blouses, placed front and center in this dynamic campaign.

A press described the shoot as: “A visceral evocation of liberation and expression, echoing the spirit of 19th century provocateurs. The artists, writers and aesthetes whose spirit underscores the collection: Oscar Wilde, Vesta Tilley, Romaine Brook.”

“The collection was rooted in the uncompromising self-expression of independent thinkers, exploring the tension between tradition and transgression,” McGirr noted. “Their spirit of progressivism feels pertinent now, inherent in modern questions of character, identity, idealism and gender.”
