Legendary actor Steve Buscemi made an appearance at the Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks in New York City over the holiday weekend and he looked nearly unrecognizable at the event.
The Reservoir Dogs icon, 67, looked youthful and nearly unrecognizable posing for photos on the red carpet for the event at Pier 17, where he wore a black t-shirt and jeans with matching black sneakers and an open grey short-sleeved button up shirt on top. He also rocked a slicked back hairdo with the look and a pair of stylish grey sunglasses that matched his accent shirt.
The outfit was, in a word, fashionable — and the actor was looking younger than ever during the appearance. He last stepped out publicly to host a storytelling summit at the Tribeca Film Festival in early June and days before that was spotted at the New York premiere of Wes Anderson’s new film The Phoenician Scheme.
In fact, Buscemi has been photographed out and about at many industry events and premieres over the last few months. However, there’s no denying he looked particularly fresh-faced and spry at this most recent outing.
As for what’s coming next for the beloved actor, he is currently filming several projects. Martin McDonagh’s upcoming British thriller-drama Wild Horse Nine is currently in the works with Buscemi starring alongside Sam Rockwell, John Malkovitch, and Parker Posey. He will also star in Noah Segan’s upcoming crime drama The Only Living Pickpocket in New York with John Turturro, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tatiana Maslany. Additionally, he is also working on The Marshmallow Experiment, an upcoming coming-of-age sex comedy Buscemi will star in alongside Sam McCarthy, Dafne Keen, Johnny Knoxville, and Josh Lucas.
Most recently, he made some great television appearances throughout the first half of 2025. Buscemi guest-starred on three episodes of Poker Face and an episode of The Studio, as well as lending his voice to an episode of Big Mouth. Later this year, he will appear on season 2 of Wednesday on Netflix.
