It’s been an exciting month for Star Wars fans with a ton of disposable income. The base of Darth Vader’s original lightsaber went up for auction with an asking price in the millions. But if you’re a massive Star Wars nerd who only happens to have a few thousand dollars on standby waiting to be spent, this new Costco find might be just the thing for you.
Costco just introduced a full-sized Star Wars pinball machine, just like the ones you’d find in your favorite bar. The warehouse club previously offered a standing digital pinball machine with Jedi and Wookie flare, but this new one is the real analog deal. Influencer Emmanuel Martinez, who runs the account Costco Wonders, got a first look at the machine. It’s complete with LEDs, sound effects, and themed missions—and a cool $4,800 price tag.

Obviously, some commenters immediately balked at the cost. “Seems a bit steep…” one wrote. However, one Redditor noted that while the price may seem steep, it’s actually a bargain. “It’s not a bad machine but it’s still the home model as opposed to what you’ll find in an arcade,” they explained. “The arcade versions are 2, 3, or 4 times this price if you buy them new.”
Several repliers agreed. “$7k for the base model of the real thing and $9k for the good stuff,” one chimed in. Another noted a difference in quality between the home and pro models. “The home ones feel cheap to me,” they wrote, “but this is one of my niche interests so idk if the average player would feel the same.”
Despite the high price, Star Wars fans still marveled over the machine. “This is awesome,” wrote one of Costco Wonders’ followers. “I’m just trying to figure out how to sneak one of these into the house and keep it hidden from everyone.”
Not really into Star Wars? Costco also has a Jurassic Park pinball machine available for a slightly cheaper $4,500.
