South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are offering new insight into the controversial Season 27 opener called “Sermon on the ‘Mount.” In the episode, which aired on Comedy Central and is streaming on Paramount+, Donald Trump is depicted completely naked and in bed with Satan.
At a recent Comic-Con panel, Parker slyly apologized, quipping, “We’re sorry,” before sharing how the controversial episode got past network brass.

In the episode, Trump uses the phrase “Relax, guy,” to anyone who opposes him, is seen in bed with Satan, and regularly takes off his pants, revealing his private parts a total of five times.
During the Comic-Con panel, the hilarious duo was asked if they received notes from the network over the controversial episode. Parker and Stone revealed most of the network’s notes were centered around Trump’s animated genitalia.
Parker said, “It’s always like, ‘So we love the episode,’ but that’s what happened. They’re like, ‘OK, but we’re gonna blur the penis.’ And I’m like, ‘No, you’re not gonna blur the penis.’”
“We put eyes on the penis,” added Stone, much to the delight of the audience.

The panel’s moderator later joked he had a subpoena for the pair, in reference to Donald Trump’s penchant for lawsuits, to which Stone responded, “That’s fine, man, I’m ready.”
